III Congress of Georgian-International Medical and Public Health Association (GIMPHA) was held in Tbilisi on May 21st-22nd, 2016. It should be noted that GIMPHA is an organization which unites Georgian doctors working in different countries of the world and what’s more important its meetings have become regular the third year running, which is certainly the result of efforts of GIMPHA President - Georgian morphologist, working in the Netherlands – Alexi Baidoshvili.

Internationally recognized specialists of the field from the USA, Germany, Belgium, Austria were invited to the congress as lecturers and trainers. The elected President of European Academy (EADV) was among them as well.

The 21st annual congress of International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) was held in San Francisco on October 23rd-26th, 2013. (The president of the congress - Robert H. True). The Professor Aleksiy Makharashvili and the plastic surgeon Dea Papaskiri participated in the congress activities, as well as a professor of our clinic in Moscow – Alexandre Shestopalov.
INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF “SOCIETY OF AESTHETIC MEDICINE SPECIALISTS” MOSCOW, RUSSIA, 2006
The scientific conference dedicated to the actual problems of alopecia and therapeutic and surgical methods of treatment was held in the Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology in Moscow on November 27, 2006. The Society of Aesthetic Medicine Specialists of Russia (ОСЭМ) was the organizer of the conference. Aleksiy Makhrashvili presented a very interesting report to the conference: “Optimizing Time Intervals of Hair Transplantation Stages Based on Morphological Changes of the Follicles.”
THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS “ACTUAL ISSUES OF ALOPECIA” TBILISI, 2005
The first International Congress “Actual issues of Alopecia” was held in Tbilisi on November 3rd-4th, 2005. The congress caused great interest, especially in context of modern approaches to the problem and original scientific researches of the presenters. Hair restoration master classes were conducted with surgical and nonsurgical methods.
